The Liberia Football Association (LFA), through the FIFA Forward Program, provided football materials to clubs in the first, second, and women’s upper, lower, and community divisions at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on 8 May.

Presenting the materials at a brief ceremony, LFA President Mustapha Raji said the presentation is part of the LFA’s plan to help alleviate some of the challenges faced by clubs.

Raji disclosed that special emphasis will be given to women's football clubs as the LFA works to make it a priority.

According to Raji, clubs will receive the materials on an annual basis for the next three years.

Each of the 12 clubs in the women’s upper will receive 18 pairs of boots, 15 footballs, two packs of agility ladders, one pack of marker cone discs, five pieces of huddles, eight pieces of long cones, two sets of bibs, and eight pieces of agility rings.

Each of the 12 clubs in the women’s lower division will receive 18 pairs of boots, 12 footballs, two packs of agility ladders, one pack of marker cone discs, three pieces of huddles, five pieces of long cones, two sets of bibs, and five pieces of agility rings.

Each of the eight clubs in the women’s community league will receive 18 pairs of boots, 10 footballs, one pack of agility ladders, one pack of marker cone discs, two pieces of huddles, eight pieces of long cones, and two sets of bibs.

Clubs in the first and second divisions will receive 15 footballs, two ladder pieces, one marker cone pack, five huddle pieces, six long cone pieces, two sets of bibs, and seven agility round rings.
