A 36-man Liberia Football Association (LFA) delegation left Monrovia on 28 September for the West African Football Union (WAFU Zone ‘A’) men’s under-17 Nations Cup finals in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

It is headed by LFA executive committee member Jlateh Sayor (Atty.) and includes LFA elections committee co-chairman Ousman Tall, LFA chief statistician Ernest Flan, former Liberia international Anthony Snoti Laffor, sports journalist Theophilus Kla Wesley and D. Wonkoah Biea and J. Lawrenso Sumo of the Ministry of Youth & Sports.

Others are head coach Ansu Keita, deputy coach Rashidi Williams, goalkeeping coach Chris Wesseh, physical trainer Dominic Savice, former FIFA-badged referee George S. Rogers, Jr., who will conduct sessions on the laws of the game and physical fitness, administrative manager Eric Panton, medic Boakai Abu Kamara and equipment manager Musa Kromah.

Aryeh Christian Miller, who was born in the United States of America to Liberian parents and his father Godfrey Miller, will fly from Washington to Nouakchott to complete the delegation.

Hosts Mauritania, Liberia and Sierra Leone are in Group ‘A’ while Group ‘B’ contains Cape Verde., Senegal and Mali for the finals, which run from 1-10 October.
