Blanco FC have extended their lead at the top of the Orange-sponsored Liberia Football Association (LFA) female league.
But they had to wait until the second half to defeat Senior Professionals 2-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on Thursday.
Captain Agatha Nimene scored in the 55th minute and then converted a penalty five minutes from time to go on 30 points.
Blanco lead second-placed Earth Angels by five points, having played a game more than their rivals.
Elsewhere, Lucy Kikeh scored in the 76th minute to give World Girls a 1-0 victory over Professional Sisters at the LFA technical center in Caresburg, Montserrado County.
And Hippo FC and Island Queens drew goalless in Unification Town, Margibi County.
Female FA Cup updates
Meanwhile, the remaining 10 minutes in the female LFA Cup match between Earth Angels and World Girls will be played at midday at the ATS on Saturday.
According to the referee’s instant match report, the game was called-off after fans of both clubs invaded the playing pitch at the Tusa field in Gardnersville on Tuesday.
LFA competitions director Atty. Benedict A. Yarsiah has confirmed that everything, including the 3-1 scoreline in favor of Earth Angels, match officials, disciplinary actions, substitutions and players will remain unchanged.
In other LFA Cup results on Tuesday, Naskid forfeited to Determine Girls, having failed to show-up.
Hippo FC pinned Professional Sisters 1-0 while Blanco defeated Island Queens 3-0 at the technical center.
