A FIFA delegation has wrapped up a three-day visit to Liberia, focused on evaluating the progress of the Talent Development Scheme.

The team included Mr. Selvey Roy Dean, Head of the FIFA Talent Coach Department, and Ousmane Savadogo, Regional Technical Director for West Africa. Their objective was to assess current progress and identify areas for improvement as Liberia prepares for the arrival of the Talent Coach.

During the visit, FIFA representatives engaged with the leadership of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), met with the technical department, and observed U-15 training sessions at the Blue Field to gain insights into the program's impact on youth development.

The FIFA team expressed optimism about Liberia's commitment to nurturing local talent and emphasized the importance of continued investment in grassroots football. Their recommendations will be crucial for accelerating the program's implementation and ensuring a strong foundation for the future of football in Liberia.

As the country prepares for the next phase of the TDS, the collaboration with FIFA is expected to bring significant advancements to Liberia’s football landscape.
