The LFA will embark on a two-day Referee Refresher Workshop over the weekend of 31 August and 1 September at the ATS for the purpose of enhancing the capacity of referees ahead of the new campaign.

The training which will set a positive tone as sunrise on the new football season, will embody reviews on changes of the Laws of the Game, Game Management, and Modern Refereeing.

Video test will be administered to 146 participants (72 Referees and 74 ARs) on each day after which a list of referees categorized in Elite and Intermediate will be drawn up for the 2024/25 season.

Instructors Idrissa Kaba, Alex Nagbo, Abraham Fahnbulleh, and Exodus Flanjay will oversee the refresher, which will be coordinated by LFA Referee Manager Ebenezer Stanley Konah.

The Referee Refresher Training brings to 4 the number of trainings that’ll be conducted by the LFA in anticipation of the new league season scheduled for September
