LFA 1st Vice President Sekou Konneh (Prof) has described as rewarding and important the just ended two-day Match Commissioner Refresher training, one of many trainings the LFA embarks on at the start of every league season.

The FIFA and CAF Match Commissioner thanked scores of fellow commissioners but encouraged them to perfect their duty through mastering the art and accepting feedbacks from colleagues.

Konneh (Prof) was speaking on Monday at the close of a Match Commissioner Workshop at the ATS.

‘’I want to thank all of us [colleagues] and we should know that learning is a process in which we should not hesitate to take feedback from our colleagues.

‘’Nothing wrong with us sharing ideas because we are human beings and we can make mistakes. We have young people in this forum who can learn from experienced Match Commissioners like Yankoi Borsay, Idrissa Kaba and others,’’ Konneh (Prof) said.

Making separate statement at the close of the training, Match Commissioner Idrissa Kaba expressed gratitude to the LFA and appealed to Vice President Konneh to whistle their message of satisfaction to the LFA.

‘’You [Konneh (Prof)] should be a messenger for us to the president [Raji] and the whole of the LFA for what we have to done though togetherness, the orientation, and the achievement.

‘’We appreciate Commissioner General [Cllr. Wesley] for making this training available every year,’’ Kaba averred.

Meanwhile, Commissioner General Izetta Wesley thanked all Commissioners for the participation and encouraged them to be steadfast for the challenges the new season embodies.

There's a joint session of Match Commissioners and Referees today at the LFA HQ.
