Liberia Football Association's National U-12 Training Programe LFA, with support from FIFA through the FIFA Forward Program, continues to roll out several grassroots programs aimed at
 developing the next generation of talents.
The LFA national U-12 training program is one of those programs.
At the moment, 72 kids scouted from the LFA U-12 grassroots league in Montserrado County have been trained twice a week since February 2024.
The training program is an extension of the LFA Talent Development Scheme program, which seeks to identify young talents throughout the country to be developed for various youth national teams.
Four counties, including Montserrado, Margibi, Bong, Nimba, and Grand Gedeh, currently run the U-12 grassroots league, with about 2,000 players from 89 teams participating.
