As HEFC awaits the ruling of the filed complaint on the decisions made by FIFA badged referee Standley Konah, the Secretary General of the Club has asked for calm and that Justice be served.

He particularly assumed that the investigators on this panel will be true to themselves in efforts to preserve the respect of the profession and ignore all connections with the complained colleagues or colleagues’ son as this matter is a serious matter that will set precedent for Liberia Football and the performance of referees.

It can be recalled that amongst other infringements ignored, the extended two minutes added to the six-minute given time and the unfair call that gave LISCR FC a corner kick and onward an equalizing goal remains the basis of referee Konah getting himself a one-year suspension plus an L$ 80,000 fine as clearly stated in the rules governing the league. This is simple and must be applied as that intentional call was decision that changed the game result.
